The Academy gives students a flexible way to turn the learning they’re already doing into college-level courses and real college credit.
The CHI Academy is an online option for students not affiliated with a local Hall but seeking a Christ-centered, college-credit pathway through Southeastern University (SEU). Designed for flexibility, it serves students learning at home, in co-ops, or under the supervision of parents or local educators.
Choose from programs in writing, speech, debate, and more—built around trusted curricula, organizations, and learning pathways. Partners include:

The Academy builds on the curriculum, activities, and programs students are already using—so they can go deeper without starting from scratch.
Do More With Your Work
Research, writing, speeches, and other meaningful work can be intentionally aligned with college-level course requirements. One body of work. More than one outcome.
Learn With Support
Students aren't expected to navigate college-level work alone. CHI tutorial guides provide a roadmap for students, families, teachers, and tutors.
Earn College Credit Affordably
$100 per credit hour, plus a $175 technology fee per semester, if applicable. Additional material fees may apply.
Stay Close to Home
The Academy brings college-level learning into the places where students already live, learn, and grow—with the support of their families and local learning communities.
To enroll, students complete both the Christian Halls setup process and the university dual enrollment application for their chosen course.

MyHall 101: Getting Started (video)Apply to Southeastern University
Complete the Southeastern University application as a Dual Enrollment student, and choose the location code "Inst for Exc in Writing."
Apply to SEUChristian Halls submits your registration
Once you've joined MyHall, joined the Academy, added the tutorial, and completed the SEU application, the Christian Halls team submits your registration request. Watch for a confirmation email from Southeastern University with instructions to set your password and access your student account.
